CHILDHOOD CANCER SUPPORT for those living in Idaho

Anna Schindler Foundation

The Anna Schindler Foundation is committed to raising awareness and providing financial support to families battling childhood cancer in the Inland Northwest, including Central Washington, North Idaho, Northeast Oregon and West Montana.

For families experiencing financial strain due to their child’s cancer diagnosis, the foundation can assist with bill payment including utilities, phone bills, car payments, rent/mortgage assistance, groceries and more; and in the case of bereavement, they may be able to assist with funeral expenses.

They also support the emotional wellbeing of parents, by providing peer support services and offer non-communal respite housing in Spokane, WA for out-of-town families receiving intensive treatment at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.

CAMP HOBE

Camp Hobé is a summer camp held at Camp Wapiti in Settlement Canyon, available to kids aged 4 to 19 years old, who have been diagnosed with cancer and other similar illness, and are being treated with immunosuppressive therapy (and their siblings!). Campers must live in the intermountain area (UT, ID, WY, NV) and are/have been treated at Primary Children’s Hospital.
